Tours are available year-round, Monday through Friday:
- 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
Generally, guided tours are not available on weekends or holidays.
Walk-ins are welcome! Please check-in at the Information Desk, located on the ground floor of the State Capitol.
Large groups are encouraged to call ahead and schedule a tour or complete the tour request form below.
Free visitor parking is available on the south side of the Capitol in the east parking lot (north of the State Library and adjacent to the south entrance).
All visitors should use the public entrance, on the south side of the Capitol. For security purposes, the south doors are available as the only public entrance at all times.

2026 Summer Tours
Indoor Tour Days Expanded
From May 25 through Sept. 1, indoor guided tours will also be available at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Guided Outdoor Tours
Come to the Capitol at 6 p.m. on June 8, July 13 and Aug. 10 to learn more about the Capitol's history, monuments and nature trail. Meet outside the south/visitor entrance.
