Tours are available year-round, Monday through Friday:

  • 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.

Generally, guided tours are not available on weekends or holidays.

2025 Summer Tours

Additional tours will be offered between between Memorial Day (May 26) and Labor Day (Sept. 1).

  • Regular Capitol tours offered every Saturday
    • 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m.
    • Special requests for groups such as tour busses will be scheduled when possible.
  • Holiday tours offered on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
    • 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.

Outdoor walking tours of the Capitol grounds will be offered on the first Monday of every month (June 2, July 7, and Aug. 4) at 6 p.m. starting near the main (south) entrance to the Capitol.

 

Walk-ins are welcome! Please check-in at the Information Desk, located on the ground floor of the State Capitol.

Large groups are encouraged to call ahead and schedule a tour or complete the tour request form below.

Free visitor parking is available on the south side of the Capitol in the east parking lot (north of the State Library and adjacent to the south entrance). 

All visitors should use the public entrance, on the south side of the Capitol. For security purposes, the south doors are available as the only public entrance at all times.
