If you know about and believe in the benefits of using the North Dakota Federal Property Agency, you should also know about the National Association of State Agencies for Surplus Property.
The National Association for State Agency for Surplus Property (NASASP) is an organization made up of the State Agencies for Surplus Property (SASP’s) in each of the 50 states plus 6 US territories.
NASASP is constantly monitoring developments and trends in the US General Services Administration, at the Defense Department, and on Capitol Hill. They are seeking out new areas in the world where federal surplus property is being disposed of and discovering economical ways to return that property to the states to further benefit the taxpayers. NASASP also serves as a vehicle to foster communication between the State Agencies for Surplus Property to accomplish more and strengthen the Surplus Property Program in each state.
The Federal Surplus Property Program is facing a decline of available excess federal property across our nation. North Dakota’s Federal Surplus Program is being offered fewer supplies, tools, furniture, shop equipment, generators, and off-road equipment…fewer health and medical equipment. That means your organization will be paying more for those items or helping fewer people.

We need your help to get our State to the head of the line so that we can get more property to the people who need it most in our area! We need your support! By joining forces with states and people across the nation…people just like you…we can become one voice to let those in Washington know how much we need this property. We must join together and tell them how federal surplus property is saving taxpayer dollars right here in North Dakota. That is what NASASP wants to do for your organization.
