The ND Health Department will be collecting toiletries for the homeless shelters in our area for the week, they will have a basket located across from the Capitol Cafe.

The Menorah Display will arrive the afternoon of December 20. The first light will be turned on Monday, December 23, 2019. The display will be at the Capitol until the afternoon of December 27.

The Menorah Ceremony will be December 23, 2019 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

Santa Run will begin at the ND Heritage Center and use the Capitol Complex trails and mall loop.

• Items Needed: games, movies, books/magazines, travel toiletries, hard candy/gum, snacks, powdered drink packets, travel size laundry soap, holiday cards/letters
• Snack Ideas: beef jerky, fruit snacks, Cheez-Its, pop-tarts, peanut M&Ms, snack cakes, peanut butter, Nutella, sweet and salty trail mix, etc.
• Toiletry Ideas: lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower shoes, female toiletries, socks, deodorant, etc.
• Other Ideas: dryer sheets, wet wipes, foot powder, insoles, coffee, regular baby powder, baby wipes, bug spray, Febreeze, etc.

In celebration of Farm to School Month, states throughout the Mountain Plains Region are competing to see which state can get the most “crunches” into a local apple at the same time. State agencies and employees can join the fun!

As a Crunch Off participant, you will join students, teachers, farmers, parents, community members, and local food enthusiasts in celebrating the wonderful produce the Mountain Plains Region has to offer.

Opening remarks on the Liberty memorial Building steps and then the bike ride is off the Capitol grounds, they will come back to the grounds when the ride is over.

Cars will start to arrive at 8:30 a.m. parking  lot will be cleared by 3:00p.m.
